Arwind Santos Unconventional Nickname for June Mar Fajardo
June Mar Fajardo, the San Miguel Beermen’s towering Cebuano center, has been named the PBA’s top player yet again, a feat that can only be highly unbelievable. Fajardo got his seventh MVP award during the PBA’s 48th season’s opening ceremony, a record unlikely to be broken, not just in this lifetime but potentially even in the next. To put this in context, even renowned NBA players like Michael Jordan and LeBron James couldn’t pull it off.

Arwind Santos, a former teammate of Fajardo’s, was one of the few people who believed in his ability to earn the league’s top individual accolade. Santos came to Instagram on Monday to commemorate Fajardo’s accomplishment, uploading a photo of himself cuddling a baby number seven. Fajardo expressed his thankfulness in the caption, and that’s when Santos jumped in with a not-so-safe-for-work moniker, dubbing Fajardo, “Congrats, Bulbol!” It’s worth mentioning that Santos was the PBA MVP in 2012-2013, just before the era of June Mar Fajardo began, with Fajardo going on to win the award for the following six seasons.
Their tight friendship as teammates resulted in lighthearted taunting, demonstrating the profound affection they have as basketball brothers.
Other PBA stars joined Arwind Santos in congratulating Fajardo on his accomplishment. They all agreed on one point: June Mar Fajardo is the Greatest of All Time (GOAT). Former NLEX Road Warrior Kiefer Ravena expressed his feelings with goat emojis, adding a funny quip regarding Fajardo’s direct message. “You must be exhausted of creating captions for seven MVPs, Abai!! “The,” he explained.
Current NLEX Road Warrior Kevin Alas kept his statement brief and to the point, calling Fajardo the GOAT and lined up to the top 10 Goat in PBA . June Mar was acknowledged to be the greatest of all time by Fajardo’s Gilas Pilipinas colleague at the Asian Games, Jericho Cruz of SMB, Terrafirma Dyip floor general Juami Tiongson, and Barangay Ginebra San Miguel senior statesman Jared Dillinger, among others, in their remarks.
With the 48th season of the Philippine Basketball Association now begun, fans and enthusiasts are excited to watch if the GOAT, June Mar Fajardo, will continue to dazzle with another MVP-worthy performance.
