Bonnie Tan is a Filipino basketball coach, currently the head coach of the NorthPort Batang Pier in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). He was born on September 9, 1972, in Manila, Philippines.
Tan started his coaching career in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), where he served as an assistant coach for the University of the East Red Warriors from 2003 to 2019. He also served as the head coach of the Letran Knights from 2019 to 2023.
In 2023, Tan was appointed as the head coach of the NorthPort Batang Pier. He is a known defensive specialist and is expected to help the team improve their defense in the upcoming season. He is also known for his ability to develop young players.
Tan is a young and promising coach in the PBA. He is still under development, but he has the potential to be a successful coach in the league.
