Magnolia Signs Top Shooter Aris Dionisio to Three-Year Contract
Magnolia has signed sharpshooter Aris Dionisio to a new three-year contract, solidifying their roster for the foreseeable future. Dionisio stands 6 feet 4 inches tall, and his fantastic accuracy from beyond the arc has won him a well-deserved contract extension with the organization.
Dionisio’s long-range ability was on full display at the previous Commissioner’s Cup, when he shot 39.6 percent from three, converting 21 of 53 attempts. His excellent precision places him among the league’s best shooters, outperforming star guard Paul Lee in three-point efficiency.
The contract signing event, attended by Coach Chito Victolero, Magnolia relations officer Reena Dimaculangan Del Mundo, and experienced staff member Jojo Peralta, demonstrates the team’s dedication to maintaining key players. Dionisio, accompanied by his representative Danny Espiritu, expressed thanks and pleasure at the opportunity to continue contributing to Magnolia’s success.
Dionisio, who was drafted ninth overall by Magnolia in 2019, has proven to be a tremendous player on both ends of the floor. His defensive strength and scoring skills won him selection as a past MPBL Mythical Team member and 2019 Defensive Player of the Year.
Despite almost missing a possible game-winning shot in the previous Commissioner’s Cup Finals, Dionisio’s consistent performance throughout the season has won him the trust and confidence of the coaching staff and management.
With Dionisio signed for the next three years, Magnolia supporters can expect to see his continuous development and impact on the team’s performance on the court.
