MAGNOLIA HOTSHOTS TEAM PROFILE
The Magnolia Hotshots, commonly known as the Pambansang Manok Hotshots, is a Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) professional basketball team. They are owned and run by San Miguel Food and Beverage, a San Miguel Corporation (SMC) division, one of the Philippines’ most significant and diverse corporations.
The Hotshots are one of the most successful teams in the PBA, having won 14 titles. They have also won several individual trophies, including four occasions as Most Valuable Player (MVP).
The Hotshots have a lengthy and illustrious history that dates back to their inception in 1975. They have been one of the most popular teams in the PBA, with a solid and devoted fan base.
SMC owns two additional PBA teams, the Barangay Ginebra San Miguel and the San Miguel Beermen, and the Hotshots. SMC has been a dominant power in Philippine basketball because of these three squads.
The Hotshots are a squad with a winning history and a desire to succeed. With SMC’s full backing, they will undoubtedly be a powerful rival in the PBA for many years.

CHITO VICTOLERO
He is a former player and professional basketball coach from the Philippines. He is well-known for his defensive methods and ability to bring out the best in his players. From 1994 to 1998, he was a San Sebastian College-Recoletos Stags member. With the Stags, he won two UAAP championships.
Victolero began his coaching career as an assistant coach with the Air21 Express in 2009. In 2012, he was elevated to head coach. 2013 he guided the Express to the PBA Governors’ Cup finals.
Victolero was chosen as the Magnolia Hotshots’ head coach in 2014. He guided the Hotshots to the PBA Philippine Cup title in 2014 and the PBA Governors’ Cup title in 2022.
Victolero has won the PBA Coach of the Year award twice, in 2014 and 2022. He has also been inducted into the PBA Hall of Fame.
Victolero is a well-known PBA coach. He is renowned for his ability to get the most outstanding performance from his players and his dedication to winning. He is a fantastic addition to the Magnolia Hotshots and will undoubtedly lead the squad to tremendous success in the years ahead.
